Through the eyes of a 5 year old

So Sethers asked if he could take my camera outside.
I said no!
Seth said but mom I NEED to take pictures.
I said of what?
He said it's a surprise!
So I let him take it out for a minute and he comes back in mom mom... look at the surprise picture....It's a BEAUTIFUL one...it's a sunset!!!
He took pics of his dino's and the soccer ball,bushes,rocks ect...aren't they so pretty mom?

Snow Day 1-1-2010

We had our annual sledding trip on Friday...it was such a beautiful sunny day.
On the way up to Cedar Canyon there wasn't much snow so we told Seth we might not be able to sled..he said we can go rock sledding. lol He wanted to sled no matter what!!!
Thank goodness when we got there it had a good amount of snow. Last year
the snow was up to our knees climbing up the hill, even though it wasn't that much we had a blast! Auntie Tippo went with us too!
Seth was going by himself, climbing all the way to the top & catching some air on the way down! He crashed a couple times (once into a TREE) but he kept getting back up and doing it again.
I have always loved this sledding hill :)

3 Months

My Little Miss is 3 months today!!! 1-6-10
Time flies when your having fun...she is grabbing things and she loves this rattle to chew on and play with.

Can't say this enough but Rob really is an amazing husband and works so hard to take care of us. I love you Rob!!!
I am so lucky to have found "my lawn boy" and we are lucky to have our two beautiful children!

What a Year

Can't Believe it's almost over only one day left!!!
Even though there were bad times this year I have to say it's at the top of the best years list...because I was blessed with my beautiful baby girl!!
Tessa Chloe is such a joy and blessing. And my little monkey turned FIVE this year unbelievable how fast time has flown.
The year began with amazing news of my little one and ends with amazing news of a new little niece or nephew I am sooooo happy!
So many things to list about this year so I will just say I am thankful in 2009 for my wonderful family and friends. My wonderful husband who takes such good care of us and my beautiful children. My friends & family old and new I was able to spend fun times with so many this year. I went to visit some and some visited me and others I am fortunate to visit and see regularly. I truly hope 2010 brings new amazing things. That sounds funny "2010" movies always made that sound like far far in the future with flying cars and we all ended up robots LOL well here we are folks!

My Big 5 Year Old

Where does time go?
I feel like I just got done writing this same type of blog and it was a whole year ago!!!
My sweet boy is Five today where oh where does the time go?
Seth you are such an amazing smart boy. Daddy & I are so very proud of you.
This year you enjoyed so many new things but also many of the same.
Still of course LOVE SUPERHEROES


Now big time into legos and love being creative building your own things that you dream up.
Still LOVE drawing and you are so talented (your Teacher says so as well)
Your first report card was so good, you received exceeds in almost all subjects, however you are a little social butterfly very talkative. hhhmmm wonder where you get that from (can't be your mom) lol
You have also adjusted to having a sister so perfectly..excited the whole time she was in my tummy and even more so when she got here.
I love that when you wake or when you get out of school first thing you want is to see if Tessa is awake her eyes open and you want to talk & sing to her. You say "where are your beautiful eyes sister sue"
Such a loving Big Brother!
What a great imagination you have my son, I love to hear the games and ideas you come up with.
I could go on forever about all the things I love about you and how smart you are but for now I will just say: I am so proud to be your mom.
Thank you for filling my days with laughter. Sometimes you are sad and sometimes naughty but no matter what I love you!

Presents from Papa & Nana

Seth gets so excited when Papa sends a package in the mail..he
sends cool gifts & Nana sends CANDY or COOKIES!!!
So today when he got home from school he was so happy to find a package
and said mom the package has sisters name on it too so we both get a prize!
He opened it and it was a remote control motorcycle.
You should have seen his face :) also M&M's
Then he said let's open sisters package...it was a bear and Seth said mom I know Tessa likes it she wants to sleep with it lol then he said mom
did Papa name her bear like he named my dog Dude when I was a baby?
(he didn't so Papa better get to thinking of a name) :)

Family Time

A fun family day...I am so glad and Thankful my darling husband had the day off to spend with us. We played games, watched a movie and walked to the park. It was a very nice sunny day and we all had a blast!

Thankful

I am so very thankful for my wonderful husband who provides for us & works so hard to allow me to be a stay at home mom to our two wonderful children.
Honey I love you!!!
I am also thankful for my beautiful son and our new daughter..once upon a time I didn't think I could have children and now here I am with two amazing beautiful children. They make everyday a joy from the silly things Sethers says to the little noises or smiles Tessa makes.
I am also thankful for my amazing friends who have all helped me through a trying but rewarding year.
Lots to be thankful for including the fact that my family is all happy & healthy.
We all should be thankful for our friends and family and realize how short life really is. Put aside differences and imagine life without those special people, show them how much they mean. Not just today or tomorrow but everyday!

Sweet Brother

I asked Seth to go put sisters binkie back in (she was crying)
I ran upstairs to get some laundry and when I came back this is what I find...a sweet brother who had a long day at school and went to bed way too late last night....sound asleep with his sister :)
I LOVE how he is holding her hand and holding her binkie in her mouth.
Great moments like this..sweet kiddos, peace & quiet :)
